Ben is a juggling taskmaster by day, skydiving junkie by night. Yes, Ben’s brainstorming for creative briefs might happen anywhere from the casual trip to Moe’s to even up 10,000 feet in the air with his feet dangling out of an airplane. Ben leads Mellonaid’s creative team with his extensive knowledge in cross-media production and his extreme talent in design. As an award-winning graphic designer, Ben’s passion is design and his design has passion.

Ben’s experience includes working on a wide range of industries, spanning from non-profit organizations to Fortune 500 companies. Ben’s impressive client list extends from GlaxoSmithKline, IBM, John Deere, Red Hat, SAS, to Sony Ericsson. Ben specializes in print, illustration, and web design, for which he continues to win prestigious awards in creative excellence such as the ADDYs and Case in creative excellence. In addition, his work has been published in LogoLounge and Feierabend Verlag OHG.

Ben takes great pride in raising the bar of excellence on each new project and believes that “inspiration is everywhere and can be found at anytime in everything.” As a part time dreamer and full-time imaginary, it’s no wonder Ben enjoys making time for deep reflection. Ben explains:

“Times of uninterrupted solitude are extremely important for me to explore possibilities, pursue new ideas, and try different directions. As a leader, I am constantly weighing and considering all the conditions in order to come up with the best option for all parties. My job as a designer--or perhaps as a diplomat to the communication world-- is to work with the client, keeping the end user in mind, while shaping the final product.”

Uninterrupted solitude? I guess you can say Ben goes to great lengths and heights to get it. Now that’s determination. Yep, that’s why we love Ben working on our team and yours.
