Last post, I shared the most common grammatical errors I've seen as a writer and editor. So, in light of all these lingering grammatical errors, one might ask what book on grammar I would recommend to others?

I do have an answer: The Elements of Style by William Strunk and E. B. White

Here's a link you can go to and see inside the book on amazon:

You will seldom find a book on grammar that is so short (only around 80 pages) and simply put. I think it outlines the most important rules of grammar whether you are writing a business letter or a simple email. It explains the most common grammatical errors and also the most important grammar rules.

It's one to keep on your desk. OR on the nightstand. OR in the bathroom. We all need reading material sometimes.

This one is worth the investment. You can look up a question on in the index or read a chapter at a time to refresh your memory. This was the book I most enjoyed reading to stay fresh with grammar while teaching English and the one I continue to peruse today.

Let me know what you think. OR, if you're a grammar guru, please share what book you'd recommend?
