Quite possibly one of the most ridiculous things a man can do is grow a mustache Well that, and strutting his stuff in a bikini brief at the beach. And no, I am not talking about the nicely trimmed stach. I am referring to the Chewbacca look. Then again, my most recent trip to Europe, everyone seemed to have both. It was the fashion craze for men, boys, and even a few women (but that's a different story). They grow it and wear it with pride. Not having one made me feel like an outcast, and outsider, not worthy to breath the same air. Makes you think, do they know something that we all don't hear in the States? Are we missing something?
What if we all grow a mustache and strut our stuff like we are the next top model?
What if every man had a ticket to be "goofy" for one day and it was completely socially acceptable?
Well, your dream has come true, but instead of just one day, I present to you 30 consecutive days. Oh, yes, 30 days of shire ridiculousness. Go ahead grow that stash. It is called "Movember," a foundation that helps raise awareness and funds for men's health globally. This year Movember is partnering with and raising funds for Prostate Cancer Foundation and Livestrong. I have decided to take a stand and grow that mo for a good cause (...and of course to fit into the European circle).
