I have always had an appreciation for photos taken of iconic toys and old items that you would only find in an antique shop. Usually you'll see great photos taken of unique items like from CSA's Plastock or even the recent Votron on crutches. Is it because it reminds us of our childhood? A fond memory? Or have these times become cultural icons? Regardless of the reasons, I have to say that I've always loved these kind of photographs.
Just recently I was going through a closet at my parent's house and found some of my old toys. To my surprise, I found toys that I'd forgotten about completely, and boy, did it bring back memories.
Since I've always wanted to do a series of photographs based on old classic toys, I jumped at the opportunity. Enjoy.
